Why does franchise change?

Every year we get to summer and offline Franchise game characteristics change from how it played for the first 7 months?    Why does EA do this???  Are you trying to screw up the game to force people into buying the next version?   All of the sudden the CPU deflects every pass, goalies make every save and I get penalty after penalty.   I can live with you changing the online experience even though I disagree with you doing that as well, but why screw with the franchise????????????????????

There are never any game updates to alter how the game plays this time of year. Not sure why you think that. Adjust your sliders if you don’t like how the game is playing.

The game changes.  I can't tell you how they do it, but the game changes every year as we head into summer.
