Why are stick checks so powerful while poke checks...

Playing online 6's on the outdoor rink is like watching an old 1920's film on fast fwd, its so chaotically all over the place. I can whack the heck out of someone with the A button all i want , but if I fart on the guy with my poke check button its instant penalty. Stick checks are way over abused and detracts from gameplay, it needs dumbed down,;maybe more evened out with poke checks. Its aweful.

Poke checks are in a really good place right now, but stick lifts are hot stanky garbage. Getting stick lifted from behind and through your body is beyond frustrating
