Dear friends

You wrote în game that Obelisk can attack vehicles, but helicopters are vehicles too.

I had troubles because of that I lost the battle.

Respectfully yours,Ionut

Vehicles means ground vehicles. Thus, units that move on the ground, and are not Infantry. So an aircraft is not a vehicle in this sense.

Probably they should change the description to "The Obelisk can attack any ground unit".

There is always an icon on top of the unit to show what it is.

Sorry you had trouble with that word @2gbyzccqf8ly

The definition of vehicle is:

ve·hi·cle /ˈvēək(ə)l,ˈvēˌhik(ə)l/
noun

1. a thing used for transporting people or goods, especially on land, such as a car, truck, or cart.

So a helicopter is not normally considered a "vehicle". You could call a helicopter a flying vehicle, but the Obelisk states it targets vehicles, not flying vehicles.

Dear friends,
Helicopter is also a vehicle because it transports people .To transport
,,A way to communicate on land ,water, air."

my friend, you are confusing the meaning of vehicle with the meaning of transport. Yes, an aerial transport could be a plane or helicopter. A naval transport could be a boat or a submarine. A land transport could be a car, bus, etc. But a vehicle is a land based transport unless specified otherwise. A vehicle will always be on the ground. A flying vehicle can fly. A submersible vehicle can go in the water.

Hi @2gbyzccqf8ly,

In Rivals, units can be separated into three categories:

  • Infantry (humanoid or scarab units)
  • Vehicles (ground unit)
  • Aircraft (flying unit)

When the game mentions 'vehicles' it is referring to the game category, namely units that travel on the ground (or hover like the Sandstorm). Aircraft are the flying units - Basilisk, Laser Drone, Talon, etc.

Hopefully keeping these game categories in mind will help with any confusion.
