Tips when locking in Battlefield V

★★★★★ Expert

Anyone who is sure that he was banned wrongly and anyone who is afraid of bans, offer their advice and tips.

Step one. Prior to contacting EA technical support (TA).

Analyze the situation and your activity on the game account and your PC. Items, questions below are designed to help you with this.

1. Read carefully the EA User agreement (" Agreement"), which you agree to/accept when installing Origin and any EA game.

2. Keep in mind that if you bought an account somewhere, which is prohibited by the Agreement, or bought a disc, the key to the game from a dubious seller, you can lose access to your account/game at any time without warning. Read more about it here.

3. Also, Origin account can be blocked or temporarily suspended due to a certain number of unsuccessful attempts to buy something in the origin store for a short period of time, or other suspicious actions associated with the purchase/payment of goods.

4. Have you modified the game files, or used third-party software (S) to make abrupt graphics changes, or done anything else that might give you an advantage over other players in the game? (Infa about the reduction of detail.)

5. Think about your gaming activity. Didn't you use vulnerabilities, bugs in the gameplay to get a game advantage or just for fun?

6. Think about your activities to ban in game chat. Could other users complain about you for "bad behavior" in the chat?

7. Look at the emblems (individual or platoon) you have used in the games; think carefully about whether they violate the terms of the Agreement, could other users complain about the emblems?

8. Check your game statistics, does it cause suspicion? To do this, you can use such resources as:

https://www.247fairplay.com/

https://bf4stats.com/

http://bf1stats.com/

https://battlefieldtracker.com/

...

9. Check to see if your account has been hacked or used by someone else who has access to your PC. The following items can help with this:

a) whether you logged into your EA account before the ban from a work PC that other people have access to, or from a public, public PC, or from a friend's PC, or from a PC in an Internet cafe,..?
b) did you log in to your EA account before the ban using a public, public Internet access channel?
C) check if there is any suspicious activity on the mailbox that is linked to the EA account or the game;
d) check if there is any suspicious activity on your EA account:
- connection history;

- order history;
- subscription information;

- history of applications in TP;
e) check whether there is a suspicious game activity on the battle reports from your EA account:
- BF3,4: battlelog.battlefield.com ; bf4stats.com; www.247fairplay.com;

- BF1: battlefieldtracker.com;

- BFV: battlefieldtracker.com;

f) think about whether you or another person who has access to your PC, to perform certain actions that led to the issuance of your ban, for example:
- use cheats for yourself, but do not disable them after, and they remain in the PC memory in working order at the time of your game;
- use cheats, but on another, your EA account, which can lead to a ban of all EA accounts that were included in the game from the same PC (ban on HWID) or IP and the like...

10. Think about your gameplay before the ban; were there some problems with the connection (frequent disconnects, reconnections), constant lags, hangs and more, but you continued to play no matter what?..

Also, if two Internet channels from two different providers are connected to a PC or router- this can also be a problem due to geolocation ("jumping" location) or something else associated with automatic switching of Internet channels.

11. Think about the software activity on your PC just before the ban, such as software updates, drivers, operating system (OS) updates, installation of new SOFTWARE, drivers, and the like. Especially think about the SOFTWARE that can overlay your overlay on top of the game, as well as about the SOFTWARE that can monitor the keystrokes of the keyboard, mouse,.. and send your own set of keystrokes (macros).

12. About anti-cheat (AH) FairFight you can read on the official website of the manufacturer of this SOFTWARE or in the old post with a free translation of the original into Russian.

Remember that this AH, depending on its very flexible settings, using a system of flags that you can accumulate for a long time or in one game, after you receive a critical number of flags, can ban you at any time (immediately during the game, the next time you enter the game or a few days later..). You can even forget about what you did once there, but ACH put you a flag and recorded when and for what...

Articles on the topic: "How we fight cheats in Battlefield V", "the Fight must be honest: our fight against cheats in Battlefield", "the Fight against cheaters in Battlefield 4".

13. If you blocked AH PunkBuster (for games BF3, BF4, BFHL,..), the "second Step" of these tips adjust to the fact that for this AC EA is not responsible and all appeals should not be sent to EA, and the manufacturer of this SOFTWARE - "Even Balance" according to the instructions.

Step two. Treatment in TP for the EA of the user. Also, that one and the same, can be write on one of e-mail addresses: [edit: email address removed] or lets_talk@ea.com or [edit: email address removed] (letters to any of these addresses fall into one place.)

In the address in detail tell about a problem, specify all useful, in your opinion, information (it is better to write more, than ask in the instruction, so to speak, for itself too), for example, the following data:

a) Nickname, Login, ID of the person who was banned;
b) the estimated date of receipt of the ban;
C) the intended type of ban (one game, several games, the entire account; temporary, permanent);

d) information from the first step of these councils;

e) make an MSInfo report, archive it, for example, in a zip archive, attach it to a case, and in order to create a backup source, upload a copy of it to one of the popular file-sharing sites or the cloud and provide a link to it in the case. Also, use the built-in Origin utility "error Reporting tool origin" ("Origin Error Reporter"), specify the number there, the ID of the appeal to the TP, and in the appeal to the TP, specify the number of the report that will give you this utility at the end of work. Note: it is desirable to make such reports immediately after the ban, without exposing the OS and PC to any changes;

f) for yourself write down numbers, ID of your addresses in TP EA concerning this ban, make screenshots, save the copy of the text of addresses in other place.

Based on the experience of other users, EA does not give details of the reasons for the lock/ban, referring to internal instructions. This can be explained by the fact that such details can help the authors of cheats to improve/update them more quickly.

Also in the Agreement there is information about blocking without warning, quote: "In case of serious violations, EA may also take such measures without prior warning. Examples of serious violations include, but are not limited to, supporting, encouraging or participating in hacking attempts, selling EA accounts or rights (including virtual currencies and goods) without EA's permission, acts of extreme concern, or the threat of illegal activity."

Step three. If the TP you answered negatively more than once, then you have only a few options (remember that the abuse of appeals (usually more than four of the same type) can be regarded as a violation and entail additional measures on the part of EA):

1. Wait with hope until such a problem with false positive protection will appear in many users, which may indicate the guilt of anti-cheat, and perhaps in this case EA will fix everything and remove the appropriate bans.

2. Take what happened as a fact and forget about the account with ban.

If only the game/s are banned, then most likely this means blocking the online component, the multiplayer part of the game, but the single (single player), should still be available to you.

If you decide to start a new account and buy a product on it, then, in this case, it is better to follow these recommendations:

a) before creating a new account, perform a full scan of all PC disks with one of the popular anti-virus tools with the latest virus databases, for example: Dr.Web LiveDisk, Kaspersky Rescue Disk, ESET SysRescue Live, AVG Rescue CD;

b) install the latest version of the OS with all the latest updates on tekukschy moment; install only the necessary drivers and SOFTWARE, nothing more and not necessary; enable the built-in OS SOFTWARE responsible for security, or disable it and use any similar popular third-party SOFTWARE; add to all its exceptions folder Origin and games(s);

C) you may also want to change/purchase a new white/permanent/static IP address from your ISP;

d) if the violation is serious, the ban is permanent and "iron", then here, in addition to the above steps, you need to change some iron, and it is better at once - the PC, as it depends on how the HWID (COMPID) is calculated, and it can do differently and even change the algorithm over time;

e) in the future, pay more attention to the security of the network, monitor the status of your PC and follow the recommendations to ensure the security of your account and e-mail.

3. Solve the problem in some other ways that do not violate the Agreement.
