The installation of game modes in madden 18

Highlight the Madden NFL game on the main menu of your console. Press the "Pause" button on your remote. This will cause a heads-up display to appear on the screen. On the HUD, scroll to the "info" button and click on it. Various pieces of information will appear, including one that says "download status". This will tell you how much of the game still needs to download for all of the features to be installed.

ok for those of you who haven't figured out the installing issue Madden NFL 18 takes a little time to install all the features within it you must wait just leave it on the screen where it says play now (things will be grayed out and say installing) this is normal give it some time until it finishes do it's thing.. Mine took about 10 minutes it will depend on your internet speed, times will vary. when it's done you will be able to access everything. hope this helps...

Yup same here guys. Sitting here in SW Houston Sugar Land area waiting for Harvey to dump another 600 inches of rain on us so my 8yr old talks me into buying the New Madden this morning. Lucky him our local GameStop was open. We just transitioned from Xbox to PS4 for MLB gaming purposes so I bought him the PS4 Live membership and we didn't pre-order Madden so GOAT wasn't available to us but for an EXTRA $20 we could buy the upgrade that gives him the same *. Long story short I spent $115 so he could play Madden the way he wants and now I'm watching him play Atl/NE over and over. How the * do you release a game that doesn't work 100%? I kinda feel like when you spend a *-ton of money you want your stuff to...I don't know....WORK?!

This pissed me off too, but it seems like the last GB or so takes a really long time to install, and this just so happens to be all of the game features people want to use.

It took me 22 minutes to install the game. I can only play pays vs falcon. All other modes are "installing...". This has been the case for 4 hours now. I shut down, unplugged, rebooted, started the game again. Still no lubk.

This Madden is complete trash.. And EA Sports tech "specialists" are complete trash, it takes 2 days to get a reply from them and they act like they've never heard of this exact problem here.. And then they send you a link on how to properly wipe of a dirty disk and they disappear... Complete trash.

I had this "installing" issue as well.  I had to switch to a LAN connection and within 5 minutes, all game modes were installed.  Before switching to a LAN connection, I sat on Wi-fi for hours and never got it done.  If you have this issue, try connecting directly to your modem and for me, that resolved the issue within 5 minutes.  I just sat on the main menu of Madden 18 and within 5 minutes, all game modes were ready to go.  I then switched back to my normal wi-fi location and everything worked fine.
