We’ve just released a new version of The Sims Mobile (11.1.1) on Android. This update includes the following fix:

• Fixed a crash issue when using the Android back button when changing a Sim's appearance.

Like @terogamusaudiHaz the game crashed my iPad when I logged on, had to reset the device to get out of the frozen page but after the hard restart it’s working as usual.

it’s not often you need to hard restart a iPad so if you’re here because such a thing has happened what you need to do is hold down both the on/ off button and your home button (main large square button) at the same time until the device goes black, give it a few seconds then click your on/off and the Apple logo will appear, one of two things will happen, if you haven’t updated your device in a while your device will likely update before you can log on (you’ll see a tiny load line under the Apple) or you click your home button where you’ll be prompted to sign back in... after that you can open the app up again and it won’t crash.
