Is the Plants vs. Zombies franchise dead?
No, the team at PopCap are working on Plants vs. Zombies 3 and at least one other PvZ mobile game.
Will be getting another Plants vs. Zombies shooter by PopCap?
It's possible, but unlikely at the moment.
PopCap are working on more Plants vs. Zombies games but these are mostly mobile games and unfortunately it's not likely they're actively working on a shooter at the moment.
If the studio's next series of games are successful, then perhaps we may see a shooter follow.
