Thank you!

Username: Duncandg

Case number: #37271954 & #37254317

I am writing this email to thank you. Your inability to solve my problem, or the arbitrary cancellation of my completed teams without considering the violation of my account that your advisor reported in case 37272259 led me to file a complaint to paypal (dated December 24, 2017 and for which you have had time to answer until 3 January). The reimbursement requested at paypal provided for the total sum spent for each fifa point (€ 467.94)

Yesterday you have not replied to the mail that PayPal has forwarded asking for explanations. Today they did what you were not able to do. Repay me or give me back the team.

I chose the first way and not for a money problem because just look at my account on Origin or on Steam to see the titles I have.

In the meantime I have also canceled my subscriptions "origin access" (for pc) and "EA Access" (for xbox one)

I would like to ask one more thing for your team of specialists (tos team). You guys are more fun than the AL LOWE jokes.

What had you decided since the case was still open? Can I guess? After careful! investigations we have decided that we will not give you back the teams. Patience if your account has been hacked and there is an email and an advisor demonstrating it.

You have been involved in distributing or buying coins, so your teams stay here. Quite right? I guessed?

A company so big, like the EA, with technicians dedicated to the most successful games so embarrassing.

One more thing, see to fix the font and flickering problem that has afflicted the origin client for years. Valve with Steam succeeded, did not you?

ps: I just hope I'm not too old to know Al Lowe

pps: Beware of microtransactions in Fifa, Battlefront and Need for Speed. Here in europe, Belgium, those of battlefront 2, has already considered them illegal as a source of gambling.

Have a nice day !

Regards

Let's have two laughs.
In November I buy Fifa coins as the market on PC for the completed teams had a number of users, and therefore transactions, infinitely less than the counterpart on console.
I use them, providing my details to the guys on this site (so illegal that despite my full reporting is still up and running) and after a while I get sanctioned by EA.
All right, until December 20, when after a day at work return and I find a second notice of violation of the rules and subsequent cancellation of the teams completed. My tickets are rejected. (On the other hand there is even a reason if you represent the worst customer service in America)
So I open a dispute on paypal to get back the money spent in fifa point. (Not expressly prohibited by your regulation)
Paypal sends you three emails that you do not answer, on the other hand your departments do not communicate and the advisors at the end are little more than a receptionist who takes a note (no offense)
Given my serious violation you resent and apply a global ban on the account with the ability to continue playing in single player (because that would allow me from European legislation to request the termination of the contract and a full refund). This is the policy, and the seriousness of EA.
The American company that surpasses the tobacco majors and banks in terms of poor customer service.

they say it is not gambling, what now makes me laugh with them, last 2 months i have achieved elite 2 rank, in December i have got Inisigne 86 rating and just now in January,Banega 85 rating was my best pull, they say that between players who has a money and who do not is this system for, in October i got only 3 cards in monthly rewards and got 87 rated Iniesta, so with this greedy company what is the sense of spending time at weekends if you will not be rewarded, and they will never answer honestly, all they will give, is, you have a chance to win, there is no guaranteed top players in the packs, so you play for the chance, which clearly is a gamble, like casino, as long the people will be buying fifa points, they will push this predatory thing in it, all they care is money, the players take last place in their bussines!

I'm not interested in what they say. With the ultimate team the EA has found the best, and fastest, way to make money. So far there would be no harm, Electronic Arts is a private company whose primary interest is profit.
But the opening of packages with fifa points is the most similar to betting. Example, spend 1000 FIFA points to open a package for rare players from 24. Then you find Ibrahimovic, if you are lucky, and another 23 players that even their clubs do not know.
Obviously hoping to find rare players open packages and buy fifa point. You do it to have more chances to win the games.
This becomes a pay2win.
In Europe, betting, lotteries, online casinos are all considered gambling. Now, in Belgium they were the first, they are noticing that even this pay2win system if not regulation by local laws can be considered gambling.

Oh guys. They replied by copying and pasting the previous message without considering that this was the third complaint and not the second. More and more embarrassing.
This means that your every complaint is not considered. He does not mind losing money, so it's not theirs. But of the company.
Do they really think I'm interested in something of the team that canceled me?
I recovered what I had spent, time aside. I am satisfied.
However, I am amused to see the low level of competence of the tos and customer employees.

I rewrote it. Let's see if they can correct grammatical and mathematical errors.

You are so funny guys, I think I'll write to some magazine in the industry to make us two laughs

However I have seen that my account is blocked, or suspended, another demonstration of your inefficiency.

I understand that it should not be easy to stand behind a keyboard checking that users do not cheat and in the meantime assign to their teams the players icon or those extremely rare.

Back to the initial speech, you have blocked my account, also present on Xbox One. Congratulations.

Writed to: pcgamer, ign and eurogamer

I wanted to put to your attention what happened to me with Fifa 18, the ultimate team, the Fifa point and the customer care service. Without considering the specialists in the TOS of Fifa.

I bought, once, the FIFA coin to progress more quickly. Illegal practice that EA has noticed and warned me. So far so correct.

One evening, on December 20, I get a notification (which I attach to the email here) that indicates how my account has been violated by a British IP address. This violation was also detected by an EA advisor.

The same evening, a few hours later, when returning from work I logged on Fifa 18 I get a notification from the EA in which I am accused of having bought and sold coins (for the second time), illegal practice and therefore my teams are canceled.

Contact customer service which, in turn, ascertained the breach, passes the issue to the TOS of the Electronic Arts. More specifically that related to Fifa 18.

Four days later, at 24 December I did not answer so I start a practice for a request for PayPal reimbursement of the FIFA points purchased through origin for about €500.

No one on their part answers, by January 3, and the money is returned to me.

I didn't want to get to that point, I didn't care. I wanted to have only my teams to get back, built with over 200h of game.

EA, on the other hand, says that he has carefully examined the practice twice, and that the violation found is always the same. Too bad the answer is nothing but a copy paste of the previous where only the case number has changed.

When I pointed out all their client management system it was more fun than the jokes of Al Lowe (mythical creator of Leisure suit Larry) and that in Europe, especially in Belgium, is under careful observation the microtransaction system at stake or Pay2win present in Fifa, NFS and SFBattlefront2 my account has been blocked, suspended or banned. You choose the best definition.

Is this the system with which EA manages its customers? Customers with 102 games on their account? Not violating our rules? Don't write to us? And maybe you get something?

At this point I really hope that the system of loot, microtransactions and Pay2win can become comparable to gambling and therefore must be regulated by the laws of various nations. Penalty the ban of the game from the country.

Thank you for your attention and wish you a good evening and a good year.

@Nemo_Ulysse If you have a ToS sanction on your account then please speak with our ToS team.

I am locking this thread as AHQ is not the place to discuss a Terms of Service sanction.
