Aside from Quick Join, it would be nice to at least have era-specific playlists for the Assault game modes (Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, New Trilogy).
I guess having an exact map select tool would only result in frustration stemming from extreme wait times - and for that to be implemented, the current join system should have to be reworked, as it is in the first BF: seeing the lobby and player count before entering.
So this could be the middle ground: having a certain degree of freedom in our selection, while also allowing the game to find the lobby that is ideal.
