I absolutely love Star Wars Battlefront I and II. I pre-ordered the first and played it all the way up to the deluxe release of the second installment and by the title you can probably guess why the first game kept me playing even after all content was released. Star Wars Battlefront II needs personal Stats in there game! My aim in the last game after getting all trophies, diorama and unlockables, completing all challenges, accomplishments and Hutt contract was to get a 10.0 K/D and an 85% W/L ratio. Luckily just before the Beta release I managed to accomplish my goals and if it wasn't for being able to see my stats I would have never had invested as much time in that game.
And now...sure there is more content to come, but i have got the platinum and completed all milestones and frankly I get bored just after a few games and go watch YouTube or Netflix instead. Whilst on the last game, even though less content, I could play for hours on end in to the night. Sure we have this new Progression update which is a brilliant addition to the game because I will admit it has forced me to use vehicles to level them up as well as it has forced me away from the assault class where I now have to play heavy and officer which makes a nice change even if the specialist does suck... But competitive players like me and probably you since you took the time to find answers to this question, we need a constant goal to aim for.
I know it can bring about issues as well though, I am not just gonna say why it should be added and leave it at that. There will always be players who care about nothing but there K/D sadly... Those players you will usually see constantly in a Star Fighter on Galactic Assault or in an AT-ST for the fourth time or you know...that Emperor Palpatine sweat. Players may avoid the objective because they don't wanna die so they will go camp somewhere and wait until they got 6000 battle points. These players suck I know that is why a W/L ratio is important as well so if you see somebody with like a 6.12 K/D and yet they have only won 54%, you know there a little p****.
I am asking for more than just the basics though. It would be so great to see how many kills we have got with every gun or hero, what are favourite weapon is and what character we have got the most kills with. Even if a player just wants to get a 1000 kills with every gun and/or hero, they will be able to keep track of that. It was all in the last game so why can't it be in this one? I remember before Star Wars Battlefront II was released and there was a careers screen leaked with all the stats you would expect, so I thought down the line we would get one, but over 6 months later and I am still waiting... But instead of just copying and pasting what we had from the last game, including an overall Leaderboards would be fantastic, so not only could you show of to your friends, but the whole world...
Add me PSN if you like winning Galactic Assault

Hello @ClownWolf137 !
Nice to hear that you also want to win the game instead of only getting the kills. The designers of the game have tried to increase the objective based teamplay in this game by showing the Eliminations instead of the kills at the score board in a game. But, as you have stated, the game lacks the ability to view the stats. In the previous game, there were 3 options to view your stats: in the companion app, online and in the game. Right now, none of these are available to us.
A stats page in game is a basic feature that lacks in the game and I hope to see it added soon. It would definitely increase the depth of the game. The page could also show how many kills/eliminations are made with a certain gun or certain class. Even specifying per map or team (at least per mode). the page could also contain some fun details such as kills with abilities, melee kills across every playable character, drive over kills of vehicles, or saviour kills in starfighter assault, how many times you have killed the VIP in HvV and your biggest killstreak contribution in Blast, how many times you have solo'd a strike objective, how many times you have defused an objective just-in-time. Things like that.
The stats page and private matches are amongst the things I consider mandatory for a present-day game. So let's hope for it!

Yeah @DYSPROssium the companion app I found really useful. And yeah you get so many points from doing the objective and on top of that, where the objective is, is where the most action is so I don't understand why people would rather camp in the back picking of straglers getting like 20 kills a game when they could jump in the objective, get loads of points, get a hero and then get like 60 kills. I mean on Kashyyyk when your attaking, you get 400-500 point for killing somebody with a disruptor, and when your deffending you get 900 for picking up and shooting one, and that is before double battle points! People don't realise that high risk is high reward in this game, and only a small fraction of the player base are actually on the 'battlefront'

Wohoa that was a wall of text! @ClownWolf137
It was a good read, you had good arguments to how you see it and why and also well rounded constrictive feedback! More of this!
I sent this on to the team as feedback!
Thanks!
