Specialist Scrambler infiltration?

Specialist Scrambler infiltration.

Should the Scambler infiltration give assist points if enemies highlighter by it are killed by team? And or should you be able to see enemies more highlihted while using the scrambler or is it just the minimap that shows the enemies?

The ability sounds like fun but it is not very rewarding to use at this moment.
