Sims mobile: Do both parents interact with child? I have a deadbeat Dad!

So my delightful couple went to bed and created a lovely child. However, from infancy, to toddler, to child, the mother is the only Sim parent raising the child. If this is the game format-it’s dreadful. The world has enough absentee fathers. Information on game play greatly appreciated!

@MELLEM143 Where is the Dad? Does he belong to someone else? I feel bad for people who hook up with a Sim and ask them to move in but the other person says no. In my case, my Sim was married to another one of my Sims. There should be a way to acknowledge that fact. Or is it because you don't have an available slot to move them in? I always make my own Sims and have them marry that way. 😊☺

Update: I just read your post again. Any Adult in the house can interact with the babies, toddler and child. All my adult Sims help with the Family Events, check on the babies, feed the babies, talk to the children. Is that not happening in your Sims home? 😮
