Sims 4, any compensation?

I know this is selfish on my part but is there any way to get a little compensation, I bought Sims 4 but now it is free. Is there any way to get some type of compensation for this. I don't think it is very fair for those who've already bought the base game but then new players do not have to spend a cent for this limited time offer.

@PooidMyOoids I doubt it, as people would pop up all over that wanted money back. The same would be the case for those who have purchased expansions or packs since EA cycles through many sales that are sometimes 50% off (or very cheap or free for base game occasionally lately) but always  for limited periods. You can save a lot of money purchasing them on the cycling sales, though.
