Sims 4 Households Disappeared

Hey i recently had to re-format my PC and i just re-downloaded origin and the sims and all my saves had disappeared, most with lots of progress. I had about 6 saves all with multiple families that i would regularly play. I can still go onto the gallery and view my uploaded households but all my favorites i wanted to keep to my self and had forgot to save them privately. does any one know how to help????

If you did not create a backup of your saves and other stuff then it is lost forever.

I learned the hard way (I do web design for a living) to be obsessive about backups. Sorry... it’s a tough lesson. Save your “Sims 4” file from your computer ( Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 ) to an external drive. More info here:  http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/save.php
