A lot of players rely on the explosive blast modification for certain weapons, should the damage ratio be lessened against Heros?

Should melee damage against Heros be drastically reduced?

@raidernaphtali considering how underpowered saber characters feel in the game atm something needs doing. If hero dodges were to grant damage immunity like the op combat roll it might help. I can't say melee damage needs a nerf as it is rare I ever personally get caught by melee damage as a hero seeing as you need to be constantly on the move anyway.

I don't think melee damage need to be changed. It is a high-risk maneuver enemies can make.

As for explosion shots.... I wish some heroes had the effect of countering it. For example, Grievous his unrelenting advance could have been a unique ability to also block explosion shot, but they decided that explosions must always damage.

 

I truly believe the lightsaber combat needs some serious changes. Remove the stunlock from hits and improve the lightsaber hit mechanic because it feels very off now.

I would like to add in regards to melee damage. Today I realised that the personal squad shield reduces melee damage inflicted upon the specialist, this strikes me as odd seeing as a melee is inflicted from inside their personal shield. Basically they can melee inflicting full damage whilst you are unable to inflict full melee damage on them for the duration of their shield, this needs changing imo as it makes no sense.

Seriously the stun locks on this game need removing. Earlier I watched one of the specialists on my team melee a full health Kylo Ren to death because Kylo Ren became stun locked. I'm guessing the person using him tried to hack back at the specialist using his saber rather than dodge out of the stun lock first, assuming he would be able to. I'm guessing the specialist must have also been using infiltration to increase his speed in order to keep meleeing him quick enough. It was funny to watch but at the same time ridiculous that it's even possible to lose a full health, force using villian to a meleeing specialist, just goes to highlight how underpowered saber users are in the game right now.
