If you're playing as a Defender on Day 2 of Battle of Hannut, on the first sector of Panzerstorm, the retreat is way too long on the way to the second sector. I see tanks all the way in the front lines get blown up halfway through their retreat for desertion. It also doesn't help that the Archer tank has a bugged disabled tank that can't be repaired, so the retreat is a snails pace to auto-destruction..
Yes, you have 1 minute to retreat, and I think that adding more time isn't the solution. Rather, there should be a shorter distance to the second sector. This doesn't mean that the first sector needs to be shortened. The Defender's second sector in-bounds territory can overlap with part of the first sector. That way, the retreat doesn't lead to teammates failing to retreat and adding to the enemy reinforcements, and there won't be more downtime due to adding more time to the retreat.
Just my 2 cents.
Solved! Go to Solution.

The problem you're having sort of comes from the internal tests they did before release. Normally the first sector would be over in around 3 minutes (this was sort of intentional) so defenders didn't really have time to push that far up. With attackers now meta camping, it allows for the defenders to push (smdh). You do get marked on the screen so I don't really see why the OoB timer needs to really start; if your entire team can't kill one or two marked enemies deep in your zome well I guess you sort of deserve it?
