So I've realized between using them and facing them that for their cost Scarab's are too over powered. There's no viable solution that you can put them against that is cost effective if any. It says they are not good toward air but yet one shots any aircraft unlucky enough to cross their path.

Scarabs are easily dealt with. You can spam infantry/militia into them to just get rid of them, since you just spent 20 tiberium to remove a 30 tiberium threat, as well as any units that are near death or don't have the health to hold a platform you can send to use up a scarab charge.
Scarabs hit hard but are useless if being used offensively. Don't let a scarab just hold a platform either, send fodder Infantry/Militia at it to get rid of it when you're able to or you'll regret it at the missiles final charge.

If you run riflemen or militia scarabs should not pose any problem for you. Starting with a single rifle/militia and rushing out to a platform you can stop scarabs in their tracks. Any scarab trying to take a platform from a defending rifleman will die. And because your basic infantry are cheap, you can easily expend them to take out a defending scarab.

Yeah scarabs definitely aren't op, find any game near the top of the leaderboard with scarabs in it and you'll likely see a good example of how to handle them.
That said, I've long been a proponent of scarabs either only getting one shot or not hitting air units because yeah they have always caused problems for people down in the lower level ranges and they probably still will going forward, your complaint certainly isn't uncommon.

You can micro two infantry to kill a single scarab and still have one infantry left.
Get both infantry so they are a single space away from being able to engage the scarab. Then send them both in the direction of the scarab (but not necessarily attacking the scarab) very quickly and as close to the same time as possible.
You will lose one infantry but the other infantry will kill the second scarab beetle before it can attack. Now you have control of that space and that infantry will kill any scarabs that come close. Plus you spent 20 tiberium while they spent 30.

Ya he is right tho the scarab unit is kinda OP esp when they can kill units 2-3 lvls above them with one shot...they need to cost more or less damage
