I'm happy that Popcap issued a statement, even if it was a vague unhelpful one, but in the mean time this game still feels like garbage to play anytime the enemy team has more than 1-2 Rose players (unfortunate given it's otherwise a great game), so my new strategy whenever the enemy team has more than 3 Rose players from now on is to simply leave the game and re-queue as a plant. I encourage anyone else frustrated by the lack of balance to do so as well until the issue is fixed.
The video game industry is notorious for "soon" becoming weeks or months or never at all. Popcap can't ignore the issue for long though if it's pressed this way, or the game will bleed players. Remember, balance mistakes happen, that is OK, they will happen again even if this issue is fixed, that is also OK, but the way a company deals with one issue is likely how they will deal with all issues, so don't be afraid to jeopardize the games future, because if the future is worth anything the game will be fixed quickly. Vote with your wallets without having to give up the money you already spent, just quit and re-queue, send a message without giving up on the game totally.
