Rockworm op vs. GDI

I have noticed that the Rockworm ops against GDI, I have not found a  counter to it playing as GDI. Sandstorm does not counter titans well but everything else it destroys.

The Kodiak annihilates it. I feel like GDI commanders have to play with the Disruptor and Kodiak right now; they take out pretty much anything right now and can wipe out the enemy base.

Zone troopers are the best to counter strong vehicles and air. Except for flame tank

It’s overpowered against Nod too. I’ve lost every game where the other player happened to have the worm.

I have no problem with rockworm at all. At this point I;m not maybe in tiberium league, but in diamond with lvl 25.

Rockworm is very, very slow and you can outmanouver him. He is not cheap and slow, just build fast 3x infantry/bazooka/anything that is on foot and spam the objective. If enemy have no aircontrol, you can build flyer with rockets, if enemy got smt anty-air still- build flyer with rocket (orca?) and bomb him ending him with infantry rockets.

There is a planty of way to outmanouver him and some way to kill him.

The Rockworm is only "OP" when you go into battle with a gimmicky, specialist, bad, etc army build. You should try to have a good blend of units that can support each other and take on specific threats.

What do you do when your opponent comes with a Rockworm/Widowmaker combo? If you attack with an Orca, the Widowmaker will let ya hear "Orca going down" pretty fast. Infantry does not really work then either, because of said Widowmaker. And vehicles get shredded to pieces against the Rockworm. So, what to do?

Widowmaker and rockworms combo? Titans do reasonably well against the rockworm. Of course it's also down to your micro abilities and decision making when taking engagements. I think it's important to remember that you don't always need to kill that rockworm, because they can't capture points underground. And if he's always running away, he's not gonna win cos rockworms are super slow so he's not going to capture pads easily.

Titans are not regularly a part of my deck. Shoud they be? They are really expensive after all.

Also, I am talking about Rockworms that have surfaced. Obviously, they don't give me any trouble as long as they stay underground ;-)

They suck. They are out of my deck 100 years ago.

Too slow, can't capture platform when underground

Plus that it can't pop out at an occupied cell and your opponent is always jerking around with it:

Guess where it's supposed to pop out, move unit to that cell in advance, forcing the rockworm to look for a nearby empty cell, keep jerking it and it can never pop out

Don't even need a counter unit
