Riflemen or War Dogs for scouting?

Riflemen do a lot more damage. They can stop scarabs and MGs with ease.

Riflemen, Militants, Flame Troopers, Chem Troopers, Scarabs, Shock Troopers... all of these Dogs are better against than Riflemen.

If your opponent starts with MG, yes

I do it all the time.  Guys start right off with MG's before anything else.  I can kill the MG with my rifle - and then often their own rifle or rocket squad.  Now they're down 30-50 tib.  I still have my own 10 Tib unit.

Its no different then when they start with Scarabs - same result.  Most of those guys just quit, uh, 'lose connection' immediately.

Even with the Nod cycles - think I'm still running rifles 1st for both faction.
