Retiring a Sim wearing an Izzy's outfit [ Edited ]

Will the Izzy outfit still be available for my other sims, while the retired sim still wearing it?
Or do I have to change that to-be-retired sim’s outfit before retire him?

Retired sim will keep its own copy of the outfit.

The outfit will remain in your inventory, unused, available for other sims.
