Need a better way to recruit new members to alliance

Yup, my thoughts exactly.

I have some random guy in my friendslist, and I really want to invite him to my alliance since he isn't in any. I would give him some hints, make his deck better, etc. But I just can't... so he is just stuck on my friendslist... I have no way to message him either, so until we can invite players to our alliances, I don't know how to invite him or how to increase my member count.

And no. I do NOT want to do advertisements for my alliance.
