Since there is no other game mode and the diferent lvl gaps for each league balance unit lvl diference, could it be posible to play on a previous league with no reward at all, if you win, no medal gain, if you lose, same as a normal game. For your oponent, is a challenge match

Currently, there is no fun to wait till most advanced players climb to tiberium with his +13 level units

Yes. It kind of sucks. I was in Masters and got pushed back to Diamond. Made it out of Diamond quickly. Now I'm getting my rear handed to me in Masters by the Tiberium players.

It is what it is. Wish you didn't get pushed back every season. They'll be gone eventually though.
