How old do you at least need to be to have a text sent to you for the pre registration? I've just tried and it said there was an error with my birth date?

If you don't meet the age requirements to register, you should get a message when you submit the form:
'MINIMUM AGE NOT MET
Sorry, you do not meet the requirement for registration.'

If you are getting a different error than the one above with the date, please, check the format again. Keep in mind format should be MM/DD/YYYY - month before the day.

If that's not the problem, could you share with us the exact error message you are getting?

The "MINIMUM AGE NOT MET" error is the one I'm getting. I'm 32. That doesn't seem right.

That definitely sounds like an error with the pre-registration website then. I'll let the team know so they can look into it.

The game is now available for download from Google Play and App Store: you can find the download links here: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-mobile

Pre-registration is no longer available although you can sign up to receive The Sims news and more by email.
