Play as Nod from the start.

I really hate when games don't let you choose both factions from the start. It is annoying to have to Level up as a faction you don't wish to play just to play as the Faction you do want to play.

You're just gonna have to get good. It's done for a reason, since NOD has a higher skill cap than GDI.
