Plants vs zombies garden warfare split screen ps3

Hello.  Looking for help. Bought plants vs zombies garden warfare for ps3. It says you can operate split screen but can’t figure out how.  Can you please help?

@richsimpson88 There is a TV Screen in the Plants and Zombies base and you need to interact with it to do split-screen. They are located near the globes. Once the first player interacts with the TV Screen, the second player then sign in and join.
