Just hopping into this conversation, because I see a lot of details that were reported otherwise by the community manager F8RGE.

The improved matchmaking system was added to the game together with the new clone skins (wolfpack). However, it was not turned on. So all the matches you played up to today 12:00 UTC are matches with the matchmaking switched off.

From 12:00 UTC today the matchmaking is switched on for 24 h. This is to gather feedback for the system and possible seeing what has to be improved. However I hope the system works because balancing is very much needed.

Oh, EOR matchmaking is coming. 

Unfortunately I can't play during this 24h, but I am looking forward to see the feedback from many players.
