No defenses in grand arena is weak. What can you do?

So I've been enjoying the new grand arena until today. I usually attack 1 min after start and have done good so far with my squads. Got some wins by using 4 members in 5 members squad and full health bonus,etc.  However today I hop on and see my opponent left all his territories empty. Capping me at 920 with out even getting to attack. Its no fun at all and doesn't let me even earn quests for the grand arena titles. What do I do? Leave my territories blank? Hope this goes away.

I have had this happen to me as well. You do not get to progress in your GA quests unfortunately. However, you get a free win, and with the rewards I think it's a good compromise
