January 2018
Since Need for Speed Rivals was introduced for the first time,i already knew that i am looking at another HP type title.
I loved some aspects of it like the map and how cops were aggressive. But,it all fell to the crapper when i took a look at every aspect of the game.
At that time, the whole community (fan base) was shouting Underground 3 and customization,so we got the 2015/16 reboot.
As time progressed we gave a whole lot of suggestions regarding the upcoming title, which we all know now as Payback.
Let`s not lose that suggestion streak we had and continue building Need for Speed from where we stand.
So,i got myself thinking : What can be done for the next game ?
Here is a complete, big look at what NFS should have in the 2019 title:
-50/50 city and road map : In Payback, the map is represented as a Las Vegas (Nevada) copy.
I love the idea,it was one of my favorites BUT there are a lot of fans including me , that want to keep street racing where it belongs - in a urban city.
Also there are players that love the freedom of open roads and highways that go on and on.
My map proposal for NFS 2019 is a New York style city map with mountains and roads perfect for drifting far from the eyes of the public.
Just imagine this : Rushing on a Manhattan like bridge towards the city in a massive traffic jam with cops behind with rhinos and Corvettes just waiting for us to make a mistake.
The city would be full of amazing structures like the Empire State building or the Flatiron building.Best part of it would be the Times Square where car meets would happen online and where the best snapshots would be taken,OR the Central park.
The city needs to be full of lights, traffic and tight side streets, perfect for runner cars.
Now,stepping back away from the city there should be mountains with a lot of windy roads that represent a playground for drifting crews.
I would make a mix of the Rivals and 2015 roads.Of course, lets not forget the off-roaders who would own every single bit of dirt on the map.
Now,onto the cars:
In Payback,i love the car mixture but i need to agree with BlackPanthaa that WE NEED more lower end cars.
There should be a close to equal number of cars from different types for different events.
Also, there should be a test drive mode for every car when buying, not everyone is sure which car is better until you get your hands on it,am i right or wrong?
Customization:
Payback`s customization is spot on but on some cars i still see a bit of lack in body parts like the R34 Skyline.
Like i said before in other discussions, let there be 50 cars, there don`t have to be 500 BUT there needs to be enough customization for every car.
Like i said, its spot on but there is more to improve!
Handling:
The handling is one of the things that really make me mad not because you guys at Ghost make it how you make it but because of a lot of people who trash it.
Payback`s handling is a lot better than in the previous game.
There need to be some improvements regarding the grip handling but the global look at handling is a lot better.
Story:
I rad and heard people saying how its cheesy, for me its not even close being that way.
I loved the storyline and how the characters fight Navarro to the very end but i don`t see the ending of Payback as the ending of Tyler`s story.
In the next game i expect Tyler`s return and a deeper look at Arkwright,The Gambler`s play in Silverrock and who is this Kobashi.
Cops:
The cops in Payback are how they should be : aggressive and ruthless. I expect the same in the next game.
I also want them in free roam with new cars.
The killswitch should be in as well.
+CAR SUGGESTIONS :
Exotic :
Aston Martin DB11
Audi R8 V10 Plus (2013)
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Bentley Continental GT (2018
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento,Aventador,Huracan,Gallardo
Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
Jaguar Project XE SV Project 8
Muscle:
Pontiac GTO Judge
Plymouth Roadrunner and Barracuda
Dodge Challenger and Charger R/T (Classics)
Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Dodge Viper SRT 10 ACR (2009)
Chevrolet El Camino
Mercury Cougar
Import:
Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS and EVO X
I hope this tread helped you guys at Ghost on planning a new NFS game.

EA needs to win over the rights for Toyota so they can add the supra. But where are the Mustangs?

You have some wonderful ideas, but the story line in Payback and the former game 2015 were totally overrated and total chesse to this day!
I like your New York City idea.
However, EA will mess the next game up with there casino style transactions!
So Don't get too excited over the next game!
Have a good day. 😁👍

" However, EA will mess the next game up with their casino style transactions!
So Don't get too excited over the next game! "
^^ exactly. !
If EA had babies they would starve....EA would constantly be trying to spoon feed them stuff they didn't like even after they spit it out time and time again They cant nor want to learn.
Dumb analogy but you get my point.

I like some ideas here. A big city would be cool. I think in this day and age with massive open world games, they should combine previous maps. They also do need more lower end cars and more parts also. One thing that I was always vocal about was the performance customization in Payback. Instead of that, they need REAL parts. I want to see something like UG2 or 2015. I loved the desert setting and maybe they should combine a big city with a wide open desert too. Maybe something like Hot Pursuit? I also want to see open world cops like MW 2005 had. I want to be able to get into crazy chases. I would love to see a UG and MW mix with a little bit of 2015 in there. A nice, long and slow paced racing game. We need something fresh here.

I would like to see the SE3P RX-8 and the Eclipse GT added either as a import car pack on NFS Payback or the Future NFS title, also add some old NFSMW body kits to the aforementioned 2 cars and some other cars, I like them hehe ^^

("We Need Something Fresh Here")!
I fully agree with your assessment!
Sadly EA the greedy money theives care
Nothing much about their consumers!
Ghost Studios which built Payback and other games for EA also seem to be out of plausible ideas.
Smart gamers more then ever are feeling the frustation of (" Buyers Remorse")!
EA, is running a real mind control game on consumers!
The kids won't understand, but us adults sure do that buy these games for ourselves or our children.
So as Consumers let's pay attention to this habitual broken behavior by EA & Ghost Studios.
The next game You can be certain will have ("Micro transactions")!
This is EA's cheese & mouse trap!
Have any of your friends or even yourself asked why paying more money should ever be in a video game??
I feel as many people do on the belgernt broken behavior of corporate EA as nothing more then a money scheme!
Paying one time for a game should be enough!
Regardless of what EA creates for the next NFS game.
That's the lesson for all gaming consumers to learn first!
Buy and support only games that don't have micro transactions in them.
We need to get together as a family community and be United in this achievement and let EA know we are tired of being taken advantage of!!
So let's write to them in a honest but polite way and say to EA...No More Micro Transactions!! Thank You!
If we want change we have to be United as a game family community first!
Thanks for sharing & Happy New year to you.😁👍

My polite way is saying...." No thanks". Low sales is a eye opener to EA , especially to the investors. I am not even interested in the slightest for the next Need for Speed. I hate saying it , I really do but i agree , the series is more about ways to make more money by taking small pieces that add fun game play out and them adding in small pieces that make more money by blocking fun game play.
As well i have stated the graphics for this game were broke from day one. There is a whole down graded look to payback in the shadows, lighting and overall look of the game in the open world.
It Is all becoming a processed rushed industry plaque by stupid deadlines and profit margin expectations. In the back of my mind there is a small tiny amount of hope the next one fixes all the issues but I just know it wont be.

Yes, and unfortunately EA just never learns or seems to care one bit about consumers opinion on development on any of there games that I have been aware of.
I have done much reading into EA corporation and the amount of cash they make is unreal.
They truly have lost touch with game consumers and have become outdated in something truly original for NFS Series.
ImI glad we all are allowed to share and express our individual interests in this forum.
Sadly however I feel all our words are hitting deep space and not being transferred back to the morons at EA!
Great post and thanks for sharing.
Kudos XP for your help Brother. 👍😁
