Mut Squads Superbowl

Hello, I was just recently kicked out of my MUT squads superbowl in Madden NFL 20. The thing is, I was playing with my cousin and after the disconnect, he got the win, but I did not? We have played every single game together, why was I not able to get my win? If I was able to show recent opponents I could show you that we did in fact play the same game, and we were in fact up 14-7 in the superbowl.

Also, I would like to point out that our opponents most definitely unplugged their internet or closed the game completely to trigger this affect. They did not use the normal way of quitting, but still, I should not be punished for this feat.
