Minimap bug?

What is this white square and how do I get rid of it? It's stuck behind my character icon for no reason.

Ha. This seems to be the case in the campaign, I tried it Through Mud and Blood via Over the Top and Fog of War, as well as The Runner via O LA Vittoria.
