Member left guild after device crash

Hi there. I’m a guild officer in Star Wars galaxy of heroes. A member was playing his galactic wars and his device crashed forcing a restart. It also made him leave our guild. We have a 3rd party chat app otherwise I wouldn’t have known aboot this at all? Are there any suggestions on how to combat this? It has happened to him before apparently as well.
