Medal loss and gain needs retooled again....

attached is a pic of a recent game the guy won 19 medals..ok but his unit lvls are way high compaired to mine so that alone should have knocked that down to more like 12-14 bc thats the only stats you are allowed to see.  now if i saw the player lvl then ok but how do i know..???

medal gain and medal loss is based strictly on total medals for that faction. At equal medals, you win/lose 17.5. As the difference increases so does that number. He musta been slightly below you in medals so you lost a little more.

if you are gaining less from a win, you won against someone with less medals than you. Not total medals, faction specific medals. If I have 4000 NOD medals and face your GDI, and you have lets say 3850 medals, you will lose less than 17. If you win, you will win more than 17.

By the same token if you face my GDI which only has 3780 medals, you will lose more than 17, and win less than 17.

Doesn't matter that my GDI and NOD combined are higher than yours.

As per your screenshot, in the ARES match, ARES was awarded 19 because your GDI medals must have been slightly higher than his at the time.  Despite the fact that his units are, on average, higher than yours.

As for your match against Atreides, he was in Masters III and you're in Masters II.  Your GDI had more medals compared to Atreides' Nod so you didn't win the median amount (17.5).

i think what we need is to see the players medal count and/or lvl
