Maul shards removed from Conquest store

I recently decided to buy 3 packs of Maul shards in Conquest store, in order to save one refresh when he is added to Proving Grounds. I managed to do two purchases, but then he was apparently removed from the store (when Ben Solo was introduced). This means the 12-1800 crystals I spent are wasted, as the shards will eventually end up in the shard shop. I'm now sitting on 19 of the 20 shards I needed, and I think it is unfair that the shards were removed from the shop so abruptly. The Conquest timer was added at the same time, and the players had no way of knowing that this change was imminent before it happened.
