Today I was playing the franchise mode with a role as a created player. I wanted to play as an undrafted QB, and I put my player on the Raiders. I was very surprised to see that after not playing in any of the preseason games as the third stringer, I got a message saying I would be cut from the team AND forced to retire. I was wondering if the team at EA/Madden knows about this issue? This is honestly really disappointing because I was really looking forward to building my player and working my way up. It’s frustrating because you receive messages as if you’re the starter, but you aren’t getting any game time so it messes up everything. I hope the team at EA looks into this, and can offer some kind of a fix because my thing is, why even have the option to make an undrafted player in the first place if it’s basically impossible to stay on a team?
