Loan system in Career moad

I feel like loaning players out has got to the point where it is kind of pointless. I don't feel like they ever get played and there is no way to track how well they are doing unless they're playing in the same league as you.

I always try and loan my players out to teams who are in lower leagues or teams where they can make appearances. I feel like we should be able to track a players progress throughout their loan spell. This would give me a rough idea of what I'd want to do with them when they return on loan for example, I've loaned a ST out to a team in the Belgian league if they were to do well/not well that'd probably determine their future at the club I am managing. So may be there is away to fix that?

Also I have noticed that I am unable to send a player on loan in there first season after signing them, this should be allowed as it is in reality something that happens when buying young players.
