How to age up children in Sims 4?

There are a couple ways you can age up sims in the Sims 4! You can buy/bake a birthday cake and have them blow out the candles, use a cheat where you to control shift C at the same time type in testingcheatsenabled true and then left click the sim you want to age up and there should be an option that says "age up" or "trigger age transition." Hope this helps!

It won’t let the kids blow the candles out though, I just accidentally aged the parent up.

Just bake a cake for the child and put candles on it. The child can blow it out themselves. Hope I helped!

Something that worked for me, was that you had to get the toddler to have a level three in at least three skills. Then you have them age up with a cake. Good luck :P
