How old do I have to be to be free of age restriction?

In 2019 I'll be turning 16 and I think that at that age age restriction is a joke and so I came here to ask you guys if next year I'll finally be able to use the guild chat and change my username from Merioon Valhoun to something else or will I have to wait 2 more years for that :/

I think the age restriction is revoked when you turn 13. To confirm what age has exactly been set on your account, I recommend that you contact EA support through this link:

Hopefully they will be able to resolve your problem

The age is linked to the install. You have to uninstall and reinstall the game, then don't sign in and go through the tutorial. Then when it asks for your age put the right one in. Then you can sign out and sign back in with the Google or Gamecenter ID that is linked to your current account.
