Well, @rslmnk, part of what makes the game fun is designing and redesigning your home. If you're not happy with how it's currently situated, you could put everything in storage and start fresh. I've done that a few times. You can also visit other people's homes and see if they inspire your creativity. I wouldn't recommend copying exactly someone else's home, but you could certainly take the things you like and put your own spin on it. 

Also, I know I've seen a thread on here where people have shared their house layouts. I searched a few pages back but couldn't find it. You could either go farther back, or try searching for key words like "layout" or "house design" or something like that. 

Once you get it the way you like, it would be cool if you shared it on here. I'd be interested to see the end result. Have fun!

Hmm my advice, I'd make the room a little bit smaller. Currently I have a really small house with a HUGE yard.

It's good to look at what others do, get some inspiration from it.

You might be a bit limited due to your lower level and there for less rooms available, but you can certainly do something fun with it!

Paint its the cheapest way to spruce your home , add flowers and lower affordable trees this gives a nice look to your house without spending much also try to complete tasks these can open to items for your home.

Wow this is amazing but tip don't be afraid to mix and match colors blue with a hint of white furniture and rugs add to your home nicely.
