This game is great just needs the option to send alliance invites I thought it would have been in the game by now but if it is I can't find it

I have this one guy in my friends list. He is in a low league and he isn't in an alliance. I wish I could just invite him to mine, teach him a thing or two, give hints, tell him that using 5 techlabunits just won't work, but nooooo, I can't do that. And I can't msg him either so he is just kinda stuck there on my friendslist... Can't hear me... Can't speak to me... I want to invite others to my alliance... At least it has a chat.
