@ggibb65 Can you confirm that from the points and damage displayed at the bottom? Locking on isn't the issue, it's the fact the torpedoes never connect. I have fired countless amounts at these things from various ranges and not one has ever hit directly always just shooting past them, I see it happen at long range, open ground, wherever. I have definitely taken them out but its only ever been with splash damage from the torpedoes hitting something close behind it. Lol I've even hit a specialist way in the distance right in the face when he was unfortunate enough to be standing in the exact wrong place when one of my torpedoes shot straight past the STAP.

@Tinogiggedy - Will check again when I can get another round on Geonosis. When I got the hits, I watched the Torp actually track and hit the Stap directly. No splash and the clean Ping sound when you get a direct hit with torps.

@Tinogiggedy- Even though I stand by my prior post stating that I actually targeted, Hit directly and eliminated the STAP (must have been an anomaly) , I will at least have to eat a slice of humble pie. Played 1 round on Geonosis as a clone last night and had multiple instances of being able to target a STAP. In fact a made a point of it even to my own detriment. Could I target one? - yes. Could I hit one directly? - NO!!!

I carefully watched the track of the torp only to see at the last minute it deviate from target. I can understand a miss if the STAP dodges behind a hill or rock but not in the open. In fact, I had one torp never even look like hitting the STAP when about halfway it deviated wildly and hit the side of a hill with the STAP in clear view. I can understand such a deviation if a larger speeder or piece of equipment was nearby and attracted the torp but in this case there appeared to be nothing. There is nothing in the ability cards that would warrant this behaviour, just one that increases the lock on time.I wonder if the same thing happens with the ion turret? Ended up shooting STAPS with my blaster only.

@ggibb65 sometimes it's hard to tell, I've had so many different weird things when targeting the STAPs with ion torps, I've inadvertently taken out AAT's, troopers, other STAPs that weren't targeted but behind the targeted STAP so it's easy to think it works or might be working but one thing that has never ever happened is one of my ion torpedoes actually connecting with the STAP I have locked on to. At best I can destroy one I want to with the ion torpedoes using some well timed shots when something is directly behind it that will, upon impact, cause splash damage to the STAP. I'm not glad that you have found this to be a problem but I am relieved I'm not the only one otherwise it would never stand a chance of being fixed. The ion turrets work on them.

@Tinogiggedy- Yeah, I am now a little disillusioned with the torps. Last night had a STAP within a few metres firing on someone else- Targeted him and fired. Torpedo went low left and hit the ground giving the STAP minimal damage.
@EA_Ataashi- Are your reading this conversation?

EDIT 15/12:  Tried again last night - 1 torp chased and hit STAP, 2 others went into the wild blue yonder.
