Dispelling the myth of Scarab users...

“Scarab users can’t adapt.”

Well... I use Scarabs. And I finished better than 99.5% of you haters. Sooooooo... 🤷🏾‍♂️

MG Squad is just as trollish. There's a lot of units that exploit people's decks who don't have a good counter to them so they get cheap wins or humiliating defeats. but i will say even bike rushing and pitbull rushing is just as cheap.

I‘m not saying that scarabs are useless, but I do say that they are easily countered. Most people just don‘t understand the concepts of sacrificing units into scarabs, teaming up on them 1v2 or removing them before they set up. That‘s why lower league players tend to say its OP while in reality, its a pretty weak unit. It can only work if you are playing smart. And if your enemy is an idiot.

I’m somewhat confident they have a place in the mid to late-game when your opponent does not expect them and is unable to build a cheap unit to counter them and take the pad. In that way they kind of work like a mg squad.

People do love them in events though like xrmiao4 said, and i crush them every single time.

Scarabs are a very cheesy unit. For a lot of people: cheese=no skill.

They don‘t know how to counter them —> scarabs are OP —> anyone who uses them sucks. That‘s how people think who can‘t counter them.

And if you DO know how to counter them, you know how easy this is.

Conclusion:

Good players say they suck because they are easily countered.

Bad players say they suck because they are OP, thus the user sucks. :P

Lol, I like this response. And that makes sense. And I 1000000% agree that Scarabs are cheesy. Velveeta extra creamy. And that’s why I love them. Worst case scenario, I lose 30 tb and a slight time advantage. If I see my opponent is properly prepared to combat them, I switch up to normal strat. Buuuuuuuuuuuut... best case scenario is I get an easy/fast Harvester kill or two and maybe secure a pad or two. The reward outweighs the risk in my opinion. 

In in my opinion, Scarabs and Jump Jet Troopers are very very similar. But people complain about Scarabs because they are cheaper.

In terms of exploiting people don’t scout they are similar to MG. But I think MG causes bigger trouble.

Ive found escorting scarabs with a uunit of riflemen to be extremely effecient because the riflemen can unit block another riflemen when trying to take out their harvester. No scarab can travel across the map by the time a opposing team can bring out a cheap unit most failures are an opportunity to adapt or rage quit and lode.
