Deleting save data files
If I do the delete save data files like I was told to do Will I lose my nil 18 hut team and everything else like my coins and collectables?

No you'll be fine. HUT data is stored on a server.
It's standard procedure when experiencing game issues, i.e crashes and errors. Sometimes a corrupted file is the cause and deleting it will restore functionality.
