Can i expect crossplay in any upcoming update?

At this time there are no plans for Crossplay I'm aware of. The FIFA team addressed this here:

@fnftab not from ps to xbox but I hope from ps4-ps5 & from xbox-xboxwhateverthename because if not then they'll have a problem I think

So sad. It takes too long for matchmaking in online mode. I assume it will be faster if all users come together.  As in NFS heat there were very few people before crossplay but after that  we can easily find racers ising other platforms. More over i hv worked in fifa for 3 seasons
