Flame troopers do exactly the same dmg as shockwave this was proven on youtube. Only differences are who stood on a space and began firing sooner and level caps

I'd honestly see someone cooked instead of becoming deaf due to a sonic explosion. Also what about chem warriors, are their DPS higher than skock/flame troopers.

So if both were same level and both walked to a place at the exact same moment... who wins?

And dont one get me wrong, when I said OP, I said “kinda” OP. Lol. I just kinda feel that a unit that has no counter in house is extremely rare. 


I can list several units.

I will save time by showing 1 example.

 

Example:

Predator Tank - War Factory Unit.

 

If I have a level 10 Predator Tank in defense position, You can’t roll up with a level 10 War Factory Unit to beat it.

A Rival P.Tank will lose in a 1 on 1 because I have defensive position.

My shots should fire first.

Your Tank should die first.

 

The Predator Tank is specifically designed to take out Vechical.

No other War Factory Unit with the same level should be able to beat it when it has the position advantage/high ground advantage.

 


 

Next, I want to discuss your idea of a counter.

I believe your confusing what a counter actually is.

 

I define a Counter the following way:

A Counter is a unit which takes no damage from an enemy unit with best play!

 

A Shockwaves Counter is a fast speed Distance Unit or Air Unit.

 

Shockwaves can Attack Infantry.

Most Infantry are not a Counter because a Shockwave can do return fire on them.

 

A “Counter” isn’t suppose to take any return fire.

Shockwaves are unable to hit an Air Unit like a Talon.

The Talon can hit the Shockwave.

 

A Talon is an Absolute Counter.

Talon can hit Shockwave.

Shockwave can’t hit Talon.

A Talon will never take Damage from Shockwave in millions years.

 

An absolute Counter is easy to see because the unit has a picture with a circle ⭕️ on it with a slash.

 

Snipers are a not so obvious counter!

This Counter is tricky because it requires very good micro skills.

With best play, Snipers will kill Shocks with no damage.

However, Snipers are not Shockwave counters for everyone!

 

Shockwaves are Close combat.

Snipers are Distance combat.

 

Shockwaves have average speed.

Snipers have fast speed.

 

Snipers will win the Distance battle.

Snipers will win the Foot Race battle when you try to rush them with shocks.

 

If your snipers take Damage from a Shockwave, you are playing the snipers wrong.

The snipers should never take Damage.

Counter shouldn’t take return fire!

 

If you Micro Snipers correctly, They won’t take Damage.

They are Distance.

You keep them Distance and you win.

 

It is easier said than done!

Some people can’t use snipers very well.

If your bad at microing Snipers, They are not a Counter for you.

 

MG Squads are Distance, but they are average speed.

They can’t dodge as fast as snipers.

Shockwaves can get close enough to hit them.

You can have best micro skills in the game.

It won’t matter because the Shockwaves are fast enough to inflict damage.

A unit isn’t a counter if it can take any damage with best play!

Even if it is a small amount of health lost!

 


 

Hopefully, you have a better understanding of what counters are.

Shocks can be countered by Snipers.

Predator Tanks can be countered by M.L.R.S

They are countered because Close combat should lose to Distance combat.

 

To finish my post, I will leave you with a mind teaser!

What Counters a Scarab?

The answer isn’t Militants! 

 

A Scarab can deal damage to Militants.

You have to beat it with out taking damage!

 

People use Militants against Scarabs because it is a favorable Tiberuim Trade, but it isn’t a true Counter!

Let me give you a hint!

Scarabs are a Close Combat Infantry Unit.

A Stealth Tank is invisible.

The Stealth Tank will Attack a Predator Tank.

Than run away to recharge.

Than come back to kill the Predator Tank.

 

It isn’t a 1 on 1 fight.

It is a hit & run fight.

It is a different argument all together.

 

We are talking about a stationary battle which will happen if your trying to win a Launch Pad.
