Love EA's NHL to a fault. However, a bit annoyed and wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
Played through my rookie contract with the Panthers (about 120 points in three seasons) - get two, one year deals from the Panthers and Avs in the off-season. Whatever. Maybe I need to prove myself more.
Resigned with Florida for one year. End up leading the league in goals, assists, points, +/-, short-handed goals and points. Also won the Ross, Hart and Ted Lindsay trophies. Finished the season with an 87 overall rating... My agent: "Hm. I could only dig up two contracts for you." Two year deal with the Panthers and a one year deal with the Sharks.
EA - Why aren't more teams begging to sign a player like this? I feel like it's a total miss, from an experience standpoint, to not have more hype built up around your player when you perform at a high level. It would be great to see more teams fight to sign a free agent who just won MVP the previous season.
