Commanders,
We have made some balance changes to several units.

 

GDI

Rhino

  • HP decreased to 1650 (Was 1800)
  • Attack Speed slowed down to 1s (was 0.75s)
  • Damage:
    • to Infantry increased to 80 (was 71)
    • to Vehicles increased to 60 (was 50)
    • to Air increased to 82 (was 65)

Drone Swarm

  • Health decreased to 284 (was 300)
  • Squad size decreased to 4 (was 5)
  • Damage to Vehicles reduced to 7 (was 20)

Talon

  • HP increased to 909 (was 900)
  • Damage to Air increased to 293 (was 280)

Orca

  • Damage to Vehicles increased to 1020 per missile (was 1000)

Sniper

  • Speed increased to 6.9 (was 5.5)
  • Damage vs Structures reduced to 20 (was 150)

Nod
Buggy

  • HP decreased to 1320 (was 1500)
  • Attack Speed slowed down to .75s (was .7s)
  • Speed decreased to 6.9 (was 9.3)
  • Damage:
    • to Infantry increased to 76 (was 60)
    • to Vehicles increased to 53 (was 50)
    • to Air increased to 67 (was 60)

Banshee

  • HP increased to 1210 (was 1200)
  • Damage to Air increased to 293 (was 250)

Vandal337 I would have to agree with you. They could have just lowered the drone count and increased the infantry damage. I'm okay with the vehicle damage reduction because that makes sense. The rest of it is what I'm having a hard time with.

Yeah they could have boosted infantry damage since they lowered the quantity AND health.  The vehicle damage was useful to me but to lower the damage so much is why I said what I said...

10 tib units were never designed to counter everything up to tech. There is no other argument that can be made.
 
 
Drones are still hella tanky. They still counter everything but 1 infantry unit (and even then, they do a good job of countering them 2v1, and have the maneuverability to do so on a regular basis!) Now they require a modicum of skill to be used effectively. Drones are still a strong opener for airfields which is what they were designed for. But they weren't a one stop click to replace every unit you required to win the game. 
 
Enemy spamming rockets? Bring out a shockwave trooper to deal with them. 2v1 rocket squads with drones. Build pitbulls and tanks to deal with rhinos/bikes/talons. Drones can't single handedly win a game anymore, you are right. But that was never the intention. If you think drones were supposed to, then try only building riflemen and let me know how it works out for you.

Don't spam drones, and don't make bad trades.
