Since the free copy is being called a trial it seems likely that friends don't get to keep any achievements unless they buy the game. But on the other hand this is a different kind of game so perhaps they treat the trial differently as well. Will be interesting to see.

I think you may be right about the achievements.. Maybe you can get some, or maybe there are other achievements for the trial version?
I mean, if you have many friends on Origin it's still good advertisements for the game if your other friends can see you get an achievement, so that would be a smart move by EA Standard smile
