AI Takedowns career mode are unstoppable

Summarize your bug I hold R2 & L2 with a 5 star takedown defense but the AI is still able to take me down whenever they want.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play career mode with 5 star Takedown defense, try to prevent the takedowns.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get taken down.
What do you expect to see? I expect a reasonable window to press R2 & L2 to stop the takedowns. Either the window is extremely small, I'm not pressing the right buttons, or the tutorial is lying to me.
