Before a match starts on say Battle of Hannut, both teams can deploy but must wait 1 minute before the match begins. However, this really is too long of a wait and almost everyone is in consensus that this is too long. If it's cut by even 15 seconds, it'll be an improvement in quality of life. If it's 30 seconds, then it'll be better. I get that people need to setup, but that neither requires 1 minute of wait, nor is it necessary for those of us who already have our loadout from the previous day or match.
Just my 2 cents.

I agree this is too long. aspecially when the waiting doesn't contribute to a balancing team coherency. So thanks for bringing this into discussion.

I'd like to add that if you look at the Breakthrough game mode, the wait time is only 12 or so seconds long before the game begins. Practically everyone is happy about the short timer without any sort of dissatisfaction for having this shorter timer. This is more than theory - if Grand Operations can employ this same timer value or at most only 45 seconds that would be an improvement.

Yes 1 minute seems too long but it's for balancing and loading purposes. It also helps to set up a plan with the rest of the team on how to attack or to defend!Seems fair 1.00 IMO.it also gives you time to go to the toilet

@SnakeEyesPC The bathroom break is a good reason, but game modes like Breakthrough do exceptionally well with only 12 seconds of wait. No real planning is needed unless you're talking about clan v clan gaming. Usually it's just "attack B first" or "fortify" at the beginning of a round.

Depending on what time of day and what timezone you are in, more or less people play the game. The more players play the game, the faster the matchmaking finds teammates and enemies for you, from what I know.
